This is a re-vamped version of Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising called Joint Operations: Tactical Assault Coalition.
It is NOT a part of Novalogic! This is a small but growing community trying to revive Joint Ops.

NOTE: Installation has changed due to copyright issues!
Before continuing, you will need to install/buy Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising installed from Steam ($20 USD)
I am currently in the process of discussing being able to use your own copy of JO:TR if you still have the original CDs so you won't have to buy it from Steam.
If you have your original JO:TR CDs you may want to wait (and check back often) until we sort out a way to use that installation instead of Steam.

Signup and installation information:
Scroll down until you see:

Signup by entering your email address and use Referral Code: DB114C
Note: A Gmail account is preferred from our testing.
Hit 'Register' and they will send you information to create an account and to download and install the game.
Note: You may need to do this 2 times! (Not sure why the first time you hit 'Register' it doesn't work - ReCaptcha spam issue maybe.)
You will download jotac_installer.zip
Navigate to your download folder and right click on jotac_installer.zip and extract to \jotac_installer\
Go into the \jotac_installer\ folder and click on JOTAC_INSTALLER.exe to begin the installation.

Click 'Agree to..blah..blah..blah' and select where you would like to install the game. (Default location is recommended.)
Install JO:TR from Steam
Click 'Install'. This will download and install the patched JO:TAC game files over your JO:TR install.
Once completed, click on the desktop icon for Joint Operations Tactical Assault Coalition. This will start the game updater/loader and you will need to do a couple updates.
Click on the game icon again and this will load the game and open the Account Creation form. (-AS- Members use your in game player name WITH tags: PlayerName-AS-
That should be it! Load the game, configure your keys and settings then pwn shum n00bs!

Unzip the 25Assist.zip to its own folder.
It is not an Installer, so move the files/folders to c:\~gaming\25Assist\ (Or a location of your choosing).
Move to that folder and create a shortcut for 25Assist.exe and put it on your Desktop.
Click/open the new shortcut, log in with the info you used to register at auth.aa25.org (You won't be able to log in until they activate your account.)
Once you have been authorized you will be able to login and install the AA 2.5 game.
Once the game is installed, give it a test run by joining an empty server and adjusting your settings and controls once you are in game. Exit.
Now, you can deploy to an active server and give it a try!
