Disable the Windows key
#1
Ever hit the Windows key by accident while in a game and the menu pops up or closes your game?
Well, I do all the time because my push-to-talk for voice chat is right next to it.
  • Download Microsoft Power Toys from GitHub HERE
  • Install it and go to Keyboard Manager > Remap a key
  • Select: your Win key
  • Send To: Disable (Use the drop down menu under Send key/Shortcut to select Disable)
  • Hit OK (If a warning pops up, select 'Continue anyway')
Now your Win key is disabled while Power Toys is loaded and active!

Since I use the Win key when I'm not gaming, I changed the setting for 'Run at startup' (Under the 'General' menu selection) to 'Off' and only start Power Toys when I'm gaming.

Enjoy!
