Server Control:

• !balanceteams - Balance teams (Makes equal number of players on each team)(Team vs Team)
  
• !gametime <1-240> - Set game time in minutes  (Team vs Team)
  
• !mixteams - Randomly shuffle all players  (Team vs Team)
  
• !time <0000-2300> - Set time of day (fuzzy: !time 930 -> 1000)
  

• !add <name> - Add map to rotation (Tell SgtMudd which map you added!)
  
• !map <name> - Switch to map <name> (Select next map and load it)
  
• !remove <name> - Remove map from rotation (Tell SgtMudd which map you removed!)
  
• !next - End current map and skip to next map
  

• !ban <player> - Ban a player
  
• !kick <player> [reason] - Kick a player
  
• !kill <player> - Kill a player
  
• !swap <player> - Swap to other team
  
• !warn <player> [reason] - Warn a player
  

• !kd [player] - Check KD stats
  
• !list - Show current map rotation

Our DF2 servers use the DF2 Hosting Tool to enhance game play and provide some admin/user commands to use in game.

Players and Admins can use the below commands by typing them into the chat box (T or Y):

Players: (Most popular)

• !help/!help2 - Shows basic commands
  
• !nextmap - Start a vote to skip current map
  
• !top - Top 3 players
  
• !stats - Your stats on the server

• !pause,# - Pause the game for # seconds (1-1200 seconds) (Also allows you to open the armory)

Hey gang! We are testing out a new community that is reviving Novalogic's Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising.
We also host a JO:TAC server that so far seems to run very well!
If things go well with it, I will also look into stats tracking. (Been working on it, but the code is very old.)

This is a re-vamped version of Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising called Joint Operations: Tactical Assault Coalition.
It is NOT a part of Novalogic! This is a small but growing community trying to revive Joint Ops.

Before continuing, you will need to install/buy Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising installed from Steam ($20 USD)
I am currently in the process of discussing being able to use your own copy of JO:TR if you still have the original CDs so you won't have to buy it from Steam.
If you have your original JO:TR CDs you may want to wait (and check back often) until we sort out a way to use that installation instead of Steam.

Signup and installation information:
Scroll down until you see:
   
Signup by entering your email address and use Referral Code: DB114C
Note: A Gmail account is preferred from our testing.
Hit 'Register' and they will send you information to create an account and to download and install the game.
Note: You may need to do this 2 times! (Not sure why the first time you hit 'Register' it doesn't work - ReCaptcha spam issue maybe.)
You will download jotac_installer.zip
Navigate to your download folder and right click on jotac_installer.zip and extract to \jotac_installer\
Go into the \jotac_installer\ folder and click on JOTAC_INSTALLER.exe to begin the installation.

Click 'Agree to..blah..blah..blah' and select where you would like to install the game. (Default location is recommended.)
Install JO:TR from Steam
Click 'Install'. This will download and install the patched JO:TAC game files over your JO:TR install.
Once completed, click on the desktop icon for Joint Operations Tactical Assault Coalition. This will start the game updater/loader and you will need to do a couple updates.
Click on the game icon again and this will load the game and open the Account Creation form.  (-AS- Members use your in game player name WITH tags: PlayerName-AS-
That should be it! Load the game, configure your keys and settings then pwn shum n00bs!

To add a little more action and excitement to our gaming we have decided to try out AA 2.5 through Assist (aao25.com)
They seem to have an active community just like Dodges (2.8.5) but most of their servers are all PvP (TDM) for more player-on-player action.
Let's give it a try!

We are trying out and playing another version of America's Army: 2.5
We figured we would try out another AA community and see how that goes.
It is an older version than the one we already play (2.8.5) but they seem to have more active players and servers hosting PvP (TDM) games.
AA 2.8.5 is pretty much all coop servers.

Just like the version of DF2 and AA 2.8.5 we play, the installation and signup are a little bit lengthy but still very simple to install.

We have been checking out another AA community that runs AA 2.5 (Assist [aao25.com])
From what I have seen, they are pretty active like Dodges-Community (AA 2.8.5)
It is an older version of AA so some things are different but the game play is still similar.
Most of their servers are PvP (TDM) and I haven't found any coop servers yet.

If you would like to check it out:

1. Register/create an account on their forums/site FIRST. (-AS- members use your gamer name with tags!)
   
2. Go to: https://auth.aa25.org/register/ and create an account.  (-AS- members use your gamer name with tags!)
   
3. Download their installer/Game Client for Windows in their download menu option.
   
4. Unzip the 25Assist.zip to its own folder.
   
5. It is not an Installer, so move the files/folders to c:\~gaming\25Assist\ (Or a location of your choosing).
   
6. Move to that folder and create a shortcut for 25Assist.exe and put it on your Desktop.
   
7. Click/open the new shortcut, log in with the info you used to register at auth.aa25.org (You won't be able to log in until they activate your account.)
   
8. Once you have been authorized you will be able to login and install the AA 2.5 game.
   
9. Once the game is installed, give it a test run by joining an empty server and adjusting your settings and controls once you are in game. Exit.
   
10. Now, you can deploy to an active server and give it a try!
